Location of Pilling:         Pilling is on the Lancashire Coast approximately halfway between Preston and Lancaster.         The A588 runs through Pilling and Carr Lane is a turning off the A588 in Pilling.

Directions From South (M6):

·         M6 to junction 32 sign posted M55, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Preston. (Approach Junction using left lane. Traffic is filtered off toward M55).

·         Follow sign left for A6, Preston, Garstang. Leave M6/M55. (Do NOT carry straight on to M55 Blackpool, Fleetwood).

·         At end of slip road: Right turn at roundabout signposted A6, Garstang (8 miles).

·         Follow A6, through traffic lights etc; do NOT leave A6 to go into the village of Garstang.

·         After 7.8 miles see pub on left called “The Flag”, turn left immediately after the pub signposted Knott End, Bridge House, Pilling. (Longmoor lane).

·         At approx 1 mile go right for Knott End, Pilling. This road is named Killcrash Lane.

·         After approx 4.2 miles approach T-junction with a pub called “The Elletson Arms” opposite. Go left at  T-junction. (A588 called Head Dyke Lane)

·         Head Dyke Lane is a winding road, after approx 1-mile take a right turn into Carr Lane.

·         Carr Lane House is the 4^th property on the right.

Directions From North (M6):

·         M6 to junction 33 signposted Garstang. Leave M6

·         Roundabout at top of the slip road. Take left turn for Garstang A6.

·         Follow A6, through traffic lights etc; do NOT leave A6 to go into the village of Garstang.

·         After 10.2 miles see pub on right called “The Flag”, turn right immediately before the pub signposted Knott End, Bridge House, Pilling. (Longmoor lane).

·         At approx 1 mile go right for Knott End, Pilling. This road is named Killcrash Lane.

·         Take A588 towards Pilling at South of Town Roundabout (Lancaster Hospital).

·         After 11.4 miles arrive at Pilling.

·         Pass pub called “The Elletson Arms” on the right. (A588 is called Head Dyke Lane)

·         Head Dyke Lane is a winding road, after approx 1-mile take a right turn into Carr Lane

      Carr Lane House is the 4^th property on the right.

Directions From Blackpool:

·         Drive through Poulton-Le-Fylde heading for Hambleton on A585, crossing the River Wyre on the A588 at Shard Bridge.

·         After 5.3 miles on A588 see pub “The Ranch House” on the left.

·         Third road left after the Ranch House is Carr Lane (1.4 miles), turn left here.

·         Carr Lane House is the 4^th property on the right.
