SIROMER FLATPACK TRACTORS

THE LONG MARCH

In late March and early April Peter Kelly drove the very first Siromer 404 on a marathon 10 day journey taking in England, Scotland, N. Ireland, S. Ireland and Wales covering approximately 1000 miles.

Peter Kelly's journey will began on the 30th March and this page will be brought up-to-date with the latest from his travels as we receive them

The plan :

DAY 1

to cover 132 miles

begin at 6.00am Siromer HQ Pilling

Drive through Lancaster, past Over Kellet, Nether Kellet and Shap.

Take the Old Road to Carlisle

Reach Castle Douglas where Peter will be greeted by George Haines owner of the Urr Valley Hotel and a Siromer 204S

Setting off 6.00 am Thursday 29th March

DAY 2

Drive from Castle Douglas to Stranraer

Catch a Ferry from Stranraer to Larne, N. Ireland

Arriving Larne by Midday

Make way to Antrim where Pete and the tractor will stay the night.

DAY 3

Journey to Omagh to meet Maurice Reid, N. Ireland Siromer Dealer

DAY 4

Drive down to Monaghan, ROI

DAY 5

Meet up with Siromer Eire Leo Brophy for much needed support through City of Dublin

DAY 6

Arrive at Holyhead

Tour Anglesey through the mountains

DAY 7

Across to Ruthin meeting North Wales dealer MWS

On to Cheshire to meet Simon Gibson of Easy Life Garden machinery, another Siromer dealer

DAY 8

Left Warrington 3.00am

Arrived Siromer HQ 6.00am after a fantastic week on the Siromer 40hp tractor
